A conventional backpacker may go fine without a phone, but a digital nomad needs access to the Internet and the ability to make calls and send texts. Look at the international plans that your current phone company offers and decide if they are a good fit for you.

4. EARBUDS
Earbuds are necessary for listening to music or watching Netflix. We recommend choosing earbuds with noise-cancelling features. They keep background noise from degrading the sound quality. Additionally, it can filter out noises when you're attempting to sleep.
To avoid it getting lose, carry it with our earbuds case. Equipped with a gold clasp, making it easy to hang wherever you need.
6. E-READER
Reading is an excellent way to kill time, especially on days when it's raining and you can't go outside or when traveling. Unfortunately, books don't make a good addition to your digital nomad packing list because they are heavy and take up a lot of space.
The solution? Investing in an e-reader like the Kindle will allow you to travel light and conserve space.
