For those of us with a sweet tooth there is an old fashion candy store, Sweeties, right in the center of the city and will bring the excited child living inside all of us to life, or maybe that's all the sugar. Either way this is the perfect place to show off your lace bag. Fill your bag up with your favorite candies as you make your way through the store, pop it on the scale, watch the cashier jealousy admire your personalized lace bag full of candy, and pay per weight! Not only fun but the perfect car (or train, Amtrak has a station right in the center of town!) snack for your trip back home.
Always prepared to drop some bags off at the car mid way through, because who can really carry around all the goodies from this trip? We know we cannot. We always have our Quattro around our waists, with our sunglasses case, phone and cards! The perfect compact go bag for everyday, traveling or not!
If you are in the mood for a canopy of trees and a bike ride grab your backpack for the most peaceful ride you could ever wish for. The bike trail runs right through town which means you can hop off your bike and right into one of about four of five used book stores, or to one of the many outdoor lunch spots, from local breweries to a tea room you can find just about anything your heart desires.
