IT WAS ALSO A DREAM OF HERS TO BE ABLE TO GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY. ONE DAY, WHEN THE TIME WAS RIGHT, HER COMPANY WOULD BE ABLE TO GIVE BACK TO THE PLANET, AND THAT DAY IS TODAY.

As mentioned before, we’re always looking for new ways to improve as a brand, both in terms of sustainability and in terms of innovativeness. By cutting corners here and there, we’re able to slowly but steady become more and more planet friendly. We love this incredible planet, and we’re so grateful for everything it has given us. In return, we would like to help it thrive, while making sure it stays healthy and beautiful.
Our love for reuse is not coincidental — as a matter of fact, reusing is one of the best things we can do for the environment. Everyone who wants to can participate, and it’s free! Look at it this way; if you reuse a water bottle, a new bottle doesn’t need to be produced, and the bottle you are reusing doesn’t become garbage. Therefore, reusing reduces negative impacts on the environment usually caused by everything from manufacturing, to transportation, to recycling, to waste management. We believe that this is a win, win all around.
GIVING BACK TO THE PLANET
Our latest effort towards sustainability is to give back to the planet by planting a tree for every monogram we sell. With some help from our friends at OneTreePlanted.org, your future monograms will not only impact your bag's design, but also the lives of future generations. Together, we can make a difference. To kick-off this project, we started off by planting 3000 trees, divided between the Amazonas and Indonesia. Let’s see how many more trees we can plant together before the year is over!
WHY TREES?
One Tree Planted is a non-profit, American organization that focuses on global reforestation. Together with their many partners and volunteers, they are able to plant hundreds of thousands of trees per year across the globe. Last year, 1.8 million trees were planted around the world. Their mission is to make it easy for organizations, businesses and people to help give back to the planet. So, why are we focusing on planting trees you may wonder? According to One Tree Planted, trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat to over 80% of the world's terrestrial biodiversity. They also provide jobs to over 1.6 billion people, absorb harmful carbon from the atmosphere, and are key ingredients in 25% of all medicines.

At Bag-all, we sell thousands of monograms each year. Therefore, we have decided to plant one tree every time we sell a monogram. That way, you guys will be part of our great cause. As a matter of fact, you will be the center of this cause, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
