As I have been away from my blog this summer I am posting a recap of our summer in Sweden.
We did a lot of swimming as the weather was glorious!
And hanging around all day in pyjamas. Even shopping in night gown.
Also did some of nothing at all…
Whole family got dressed up to go to Margaux’s tea party in the garden.
I shot some bags.
We did some dancing.
Celeste took up a new hobby – knitting.
And she spent a lot of time in the rocking chair reading Agatha Christies Poirot.
Sweden is such an incredibly beautiful place. We feel so lucky to be able to spend our summers there.
We went to visit my mom Lysekil on the west coast of Sweden. Famous for it’s pink rocks. Here Margaux and Caprice are checking out natures own infinity pool.
A couple of weeks each summer my mom gets to stay in Curmans villor which is a house in old viking style. It’s amazing to stay there as it is like living in a museum.
Mom with her boyfriend Robert. Hard to believe these two are 70+!! So cute together!!
Looking at Lysekil from the rocks.
The girls in Fiskebäckskil.
Caprice saying good night to the sun.Celeste wasn’t with us as we had sent her off to sailing camp.Of course we packed in the travel bags: S for sailing shirts, Z for sleep wear, C for Celestes underwear.
Margaux also went to sailing camp. Stylish as ever of course!
Day-schedule, wake up at 7.15…
We spent a lot of time with good friends, like Isabel and Eric Macalister, at their awesome house in Leksand, Dalarna. Their house is pretty much Sweden in a nutshell!
Isabel, Beppe and me on the härbre.
And on top of this we managed to squeeze in a trip to Italy. Separate Italy-post will follow.
