These past few days we have been photographing the new Bag-all collection. This is one of the most important things to my business as 95% of the sales are on-line and all people have to go after are the images.
Here is the new Women shoes 5-pack! (Personally I am in love with this set!) They are available in a couple of weeks. Follow me on instagram, read this blog or sign up for our news letters (bottom left corner of page) to be the first to know when they are available.
As I have worked as a stylist for well over 20 years I know a thing or two about photography and early on in the Bag-all-project I decided to learn how to photograph the bags myself. So I invested a few hundred dollars in lights, the camera I already owned and started shooting away. It was a hard process getting it just right. The absolut hardest thing is making the bows look good. These days I have learnt the trick and can do it in minutes, but in the beginning one single bow could take me half an hour.
Another thing that was hard was finding the perfect boxes to put inside. They need to have just the right hight and width as the bags need to “stand” in the photos. We use regular cereal boxes. These days we use Captain Crunch as it had the perfect size.
New oversized Wash me! bag.
After photographing I often put the images on instagram. It is such a great way to immediately get a reaction from all of you! The feedback and support I get from the people following me gives me so much joy and energy.
So thank you all of you who take your time to send your love and support!! I really appreciate it!
The Bag-all Asia Tour is soon coming to an end. We are filled with energy and impressions from this beautiful continent. After meeting so many nice people and seeing amazing places, this trip has left us feeling extremely inspired.
Tokyo has been particularly inspiring and its with a long list of new product ideas that we will be heading back to New York. So stay tuned for new, upcoming favorites to our collections!
No rest for the wicked! We started off this year by traveling to Asia, where we've been visiting suppliers, customers and fabric markets in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Shanghai.
Now it's time to keep on moving and our next destination is Japan. We're very excited, especially about visiting Bag-all Travel Pop-up stores in Tokyo.
