Mott Street demolition!

So yesterday we started working on getting Bag-all’s new store on Mott Street ready to open. The space is in good shape, but of course I want to put my own “stamp” on it.

First project is the basement. Down stairs we are going to have our storage as well as packing area.

This is what the space looked like when we got it:

Not exactly a happy place. My wonderful husband cleaned the whole space while I was busy taking care of some urgent business. God bless him! He said it seemed like parts of the space hadn’t been cleaned for 50 years – yuck.

We decided to paint the floor in a sunny yellow color.

I wanted to expose one of the brick walls as I really love the brick walls in New York!IMG_5090We have several in our apartment. This is our living room (before the invasion of boxes). And soon to be looking like this again!

Dearly beloved hubby of course!

I have some really awesome plans for the space so keep on following the blog!

And I also want to thank everyone for all those amazing generous and loving comments and well wishes for the store. It truly means so much! And being a firm believer in karma I also think that all of these loving thoughts will push Bag-all forward in an even faster speed. So – thank you so much!

Happy Halloween and Happy weekend friends!
